The above image is a screenshot from an old Nintendo video in which they announced amiibo. Keep in mind that we only were aware of the Smash series of amiibo at the time. However, if you look at the silhouettes, you'll recognize the Mario and Tom Nook figures. The Mario represents the Super Mario series, and Tom Nook represents the Animal Crossing series. What about Link and Samus? And even the Pikmin? We haven't seen these poses before. Could there be new series' on the way?
