Hyrule Warriors Epona & Villains DLC

Nintendo announced some exciting new DLC for Hyrule Warriors today. The update allows you to use Link's horse, Epona as a weapon. It also includes such villains as Cia, Wizzro and Volga as playable characters. For a look at the DLC check out the embedded video above.

Nintendo Announces Mashup of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors

Tecmo Koei will bring its Dynasty Warriors series to Wii U with a genuinely surprising twist, Nintendo said this morning. Zelda Musou, tentatively titled Hyrule Warrios in the U.S., is a Zelda-themed spinoff of the massive battle action games that pit one hero against hundreds of enemies.

The video that Nintendo showed as part of its Nintendo Direct announcements showed Link, hero of the Zelda series, fighting monsters from the games around Hyrule Castle. Nintendo didn’t say much about the features of the game, only noting that it would be released in the summer in Japan and later in the year for the United States.
